course narrative
With this course i was able to continue on learning about literature. I enjoyed this class because I got into more depth of each moment and memorized how each author would write according to their movements. We had a lot of group activities and it made it fun to learn about each author and their characteristics. I learned that many of the authors would in reality write about their own lives but in a fictional matter. Each class day we were asked to share out thoughts about the readings and our understanding of it with out peers. I was fascinated about how in a certain movement they used stories of other people to give advice to society. One of my favorite ones to read is Juan Manuel. The reason is because the writing style is so different but fascinating. i learned a lot about literary movements and how they came about, as well as how would another literary movement begin. The main themes we had of literary works were about love, heartbreaks, and religion. I enjoyed reading and learning about these pieces of literature because I got to see how each author had their unique way to write according to the society they pertained to. Dr. Gomez was an excellent instructor and the enthusiasm he had to teach us about the literary movement only motivated me more to keep learning and wanting to know everything I could.
